Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board
The Pride in Place Birchen Coppice Neighbourhood Board is designed to be community-led, with local voices at its core.
It is chaired by an independent Chair and is made up of six local residents and community leaders (51% of the Board), alongside the local Member of Parliament, Mark Garnier OBE MP, Councillor Nathan Desmond, Councillor Dan Morehead, business representatives, and officers from Wyre Forest District Council. This mix of members ensures local people remain at the heart of decision-making while benefiting from the experience, expertise, and support of Wyre Forest District Council.

The council's role is to:
be the accountable body - meaning it is responsible for making sure the money is managed properly and legally.
provide the secretariat for the Board
work with the Board and local communities to co-produce the Pride in Place Plan (10-year strategy and 4-year investment plan)
support the Board with meaningful community engagement
